Before I started with the company I was in nursing school working towards becoming a registered nurse. I realized early on that nursing was not how I was intended to help and care for those in need, After realizing a nursing career was not going to satisfy my need to care for patients I began working for About You In Home Care. It was by far the most rewarding job I have ever had in my life. The difference between nursing pay and sitters pay is eminence, but for me it was never about the money. It was about helping patients. Who better to help than a child in the foster system with an illness or disability that has no one from their family to be with them. I have never had job satisfaction like I had working with kids in need. So rewarding and humbling. If you are a sitter or CNA, I highly recommend About You.
